Ezra Brown’s music transcends genres, blending gospel, blues, jazz, R&B, soul, and hip-hop into what he calls Soul Muzik—a sound that speaks from the soul and is felt beyond words. A sought-after saxophonist, keyboardist, music director, and arranger, he has collaborated with Grammy-winning artists like Cassandra Wilson, John Forte, and B.B. King. Ezra has performed on world stages, including the North Sea Jazz Festival, Black World Arts Festival, and KL International Jazz Festival. His music transforms stories into lyrical moments, creating an experience that resonates deeply with audiences across the globe.
The Rural Creatives Food + Story project supports the presentation of Southern artists at the Main Street Cultural Center and is made possible by funding from the National Endowment for the Arts Presenting and Multidisciplinary Works program.
